Reminders for 2017 delegates

Dear TTEC 2017 Delegate:

Thank you for registering to attend the Trinidad and Tobago Energy Conference 2017 from January 23 – 25th 2017 at Hyatt Regency!

We look forward to your participation at the event and now share some important reminders:


  • Registration takes place from 7.00 am to 8.45 am in the Regency Pre-function area on Day 1 & 2 and from 7:30am to 8:45am on Day 3. Registered delegates simply need to pick-up their badges and conference folios. Badges are organized alphabetically by company name and then by surname.
  • Badges must be worn at all times during the conference to identify you as a delegate so that you will be allowed access into the conference, lunch, social events and coffee break areas. Badges are colour-coded based on the day you plan to attend and are non-transferable.


Non-members of the Energy Chamber, who have not have received their payment confirmation, are kindly asked to visit the Secretariat to confirm that we have received payment. Non-members of the Chamber will not be allowed to enter the Conference if payment is not received. Each day of the Conference, however, we will be accepting payment by Visa/Mastercard, bankers draft or cash at the Conference Secretariat.


One day delegates can upgrade their registration to include both days for an additional fee. Visit us at the Conference Secretariat for more details.


  • HYATT Parking is available from the 5th floor to 7th floor.
  • Parking tickets can be validated at reception or the conference secretariat from 7:00am – 5:30pm on Monday and Tuesday, and from 7:00am – 5:00pm on Wednesday.
  • Additional parking is available at Government Campus Parkade – $48TT/Day, 6am – 6pm. There are entrances on Edward St & Queen St. A quick route to Hyatt from the Car Park would be via Richmond Street, into Government Plaza and onto Ajax Street.
  • Carpooling is encouraged.


All conference delegates and accredited members of the media should wear their badges at all times for ease of access to refreshment breaks, lunch, the cocktail reception and Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony.


  • All Day 1&2 and Day 1 only delegates can access the event by displaying their badges.
  • All tradeshow exhibitors must have a cocktail invite to access the event. Please collect/pay for your ticket/any additional tickets at the Secretariat before you go to the cocktail reception.
  • Guests of delegates/exhibitors can also purchase tickets for the cocktail reception at a cost of TT$775. plus VAT. Please visit the Secretariat to buy/collect your tickets.


  • All 2-day delegates (Day 1 & 2 attendees) must RSVP for the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony no later than 12:00 noon on Monday January 23rd, 2017.
  • All Day 2 only delegates must RSVP for the Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday 24th, 2017.
  • The Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony starts promptly at 6:45pm at the Port of Spain Ballroom, Hyatt Regency. We ask that guests be seated by 6:30p.m.
  • Guests of delegates may purchase tickets at a cost of TT$875. + VAT.
  • The dress code for the event is business attire.


  • Meeting Rooms are available for use by registered delegates and tradeshow exhibitors for match-making sessions and business to business meetings.

For your convenience, the Sangre Grande room has been designated a prayer room.

The Conference edition of our trade newspaper the Energynow will be released on the opening day of the conference. A newsstand will be strategically positioned so that you can help yourselves to this first edition for 2016.
