Darryl White is a career banker with over thirty (30) years experience spanning Corporate and Investment Banking, Commercial and Retail Banking.

Mr. White’s career at RBC began in May 2004 when he joined RBTT Merchant Bank Limited , now RBC Merchant Bank (Caribbean) Limited. There, he held the positions of Regional Manager, Assistant Vice President and Vice President – Distribution and Vice President – Capital Markets and Distribution.

In October 2013 he was appointed Managing Director for RBC Royal Bank (Trinidad and Tobago) Limited with a direct line of sight for Trinidad and Tobago’s twenty-two (22) branches. He also sits on the Board of of RBC Royal Bank (Trinidad & Tobago) Limited. Mr. White served as the President of the Bankers Association of Trinidad and Tobago (BATT) from 2014 – 2016.

Over the period 2000-2013, Mr. White’s business exposure saw him doing work in the English-speaking Caribbean, the Dutch Caribbean, Central America and the USA.

In October 2008, Mr. White was appointed Head – Investment Banking for the RBC Caribbean Group. Three years later, he was named Regional Vice President, Corporate Banking, leading a team responsible for Corporate and Investment Banking activities in 20 countries and 24 jurisdictions within which RBC Caribbean operated.

A graduate of the University of the West Indies with a BSC in Industrial Management, Mr. White is also a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Financial Services, UK. He also holds an MBA from the University of Warwick, UK.
