Darren Martin is Wood’s first chief technology officer (CTO).
Darren is taking Wood through a digital transformation as part of the overall vision and development programme, with responsibility for defining and leading the company’s technology strategy.
Darren has a very diverse and unique skill set to help accelerate Wood’s digital capability. He is focusing on how to harness technology that will further complement deep industry domain knowledge in a bid to further differentiate Wood and lead in its chosen markets.

Darren is an established digital and technology thought leader, recognised by his peers on a global level, with demonstrable results in high profile technology roles such as his ongoing role as a Fellow with the World Innovation Organisation (WIO), engineering related technology publications such as with the Harvard Business School and a former role as a Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA), where he represented one of the largest global technology companies.
